National Carrier of the Republicof Suriname.
Established 30 August 1962with the goal of maintaining an interior operation.
After Suriname’s independenceon November 25,1975, the SLM started its formal international operations.
Currently Surinam Airways has2 Boeing 737-800 and 1 Airbus 340-300 aircraft in her fleet.
The region is maintained withthe B737-800 and the Mid Atlantic route with the Airbus 340-300. In the nearfuture several aircrafts will be added to the fleet

At present we fly fromParamaribo (Suriname’s Capital) to Amsterdam (the Netherlands), Aruba, Curacao,Barbados, Belem, Georgetown (Guyana) and Miami (USA), with direct connectionsto the rest of Europe, the Caribbean and South America.
The destinations Port ofSpain (Trinidad), and Cayenne (French Guyana) will soon be added to the routenetwork again.
